Size & Material Guide

Why Acrylic — And Why Thickness Matters

Not all frames are built the same. Here's what actually changes between a regular glass frame and a FramingTech acrylic print — and why going thicker or bigger makes a real difference to how it looks on your wall.

Regular Glass Frame
FramingTech Acrylic
Shatter Risk
Breaks easily if dropped or knocked
Virtually shatterproof, safe for homes with kids/pets
Finish
Reflective, can look dull over time
Glass-like glossy shine with UV-printed vibrant colour
Weight
Heavy, harder to hang safely
Lightweight, easy to mount and reposition
Fade Resistance
Print can fade / yellow with sunlight
Fade-resistant UV print, holds colour for years
Look on Wall
Standard framed print
Modern, frameless "floating glass" premium look
3mm Acrylic
Our lightest option — a clean, crisp print with the signature acrylic shine. A great everyday choice for desks, shelves and smaller wall spots.
Most Premium Feel
5mm Acrylic
Noticeably thicker and more substantial in hand — the extra depth gives real dimension to the print and a true showroom, gallery-quality finish. This is what makes a piece feel like a centerpiece rather than a print-out.

Which Size Should You Pick?

Not sure how big is big enough? Here's what each size actually looks like in a real room.

6×8"
Fits perfectly on a study table, bedside or office desk
A4 · 9×12"
Ideal for a work desk, shelf or small wall gallery
A3 · 12×18"
A confident statement piece for a living room or hallway wall
14×20"
Bold wall display — great above a console table or staircase
Statement Size
20×30"
A true focal-wall centerpiece — the size that gets noticed the moment someone walks in
